Absolutely disgusting worked for this company for 3 weeks you pay your normal 10 surcharge just for them to pay you and sort your tax and national contributions but then to be told your a Ltd company then you get a message saying you need to pay 65 to them or it will go up to 150 or if fail to pay HMRC Will fine you 1600 how ridiculous
if i cpuld give no stars i would.absolutely ridiculous charges which just seem to increase with every week that passes.was drawing 550 top line and taking home 300 to 320 a week after novas charges.you get charged national insurance at a ridiculous rate and wgen they set a company up in your name you have to pay natiobal insurance for your non existant employees aswel.then i started getting letters from company house in london asking for accounts etc that i didnt have for the company they set up in my name.umbrella companys as well as the agencys that use them are parasites.stay well clear is my advice.
Never had a problem. Payment is always on time emails and invoices always up to date and on time I don't mind paying a fee as you would for an accountant anyway and don't have to worry about a huge tax bill at the end of the tax year
Funny how reviews on Google seem to get action quicker than constantly ringing a company like this.
i worked for an agency for three days and the only way to get paid i had to register with nova.i did so and they charged me 10% commission on the money i received and without my knowledge they made me a director of a company and HMRC started to send me all kind of documents to complete and i had to complete some forms to clarify that i did not want to have anything to do with this company and that i was send contracts by them to sign but i never did so they had absolutely nothing on me.although a few weeks later they sent me a message that i had to submit my tax returns, and they could do my accounts for me for a handsome fee!do not trust them as they are scamming people as an umbrella company to pay your wages but instead all they ask for almost every e-mail you get from them is money.stay away
