Just would like to say big Thank you to all staff at the airport. Starting from Check-in desk to gates all members were helpful. We were traveling with 3months old baby for the first time and everything was really great.Airport is clean and organised.5 stars
Great little airport. Fast, efficient and friendly check in with Jet2, including welcome from a Jet2 representative before check-in and very efficient and pleasant security. Admittedly travelled early in the morning but this is a far better experience than many much larger airports.
Passing through security last Friday afternoon, which was not busy, was the worst experience of passing security ever at LB Airport .The staff who looked unbelievably scruffy were uncivil looked thoroughly fed-up.I suggest an effort is made not only to clean up the staff but the trays in which passengers have to place their belongings,they are filthy. I felt embarrassed as to the impression foreign travellers must get of this country. This was over-emphasised by other airports we fly to where mainly the staff are clean very helpful and pleasant. I found the JET 2 reception was friendly the staff through the airport were generally helpful and polite.
This Airport has two sides. One where everything goes perfect and another one all go wrong. So you better be in the lucky draw. For example, today we had to wait about 20 minutes at the aircraft because Leeds Bradford didn't have enough shuttle buses. Crazy
Have used this airport several times now and have been impressed each and every time. Its far easier to get to than east Midlands for us and takes a fractin of the time.We parked in an off airport car park and the service there is exceptional. Check in was fast, efficient and friendly. Airport itself offers a good range of bars, cafes etc and no overcrowding. Staff are polite, friendly and fast. Toilets are well maintained and clean. Information is on the ball. All in all a great little airport
