I went to fill in an hour and a half I had free. A decent pot of tea and an okay exhibition. Look online to see what exhibition is only display.
Came here while there was a wedding and was informed by a staff member in the art section that the bar will be closed to non-wedding guests. However, as we were leaving we noticed non-wedding guests using the bar and space, of course over crowded with wedding guests, so would have avoided anyway, had we known we wouldn't have gone there in the first place. Paid a lot for parking and it would have been general courtesy to have a sign stating that there is a wedding on and what the bar situation would be like, so that visitors can make a choice about whether they would like to access it or not, before committing to paying for parking. Staff didn't seem very friendly or helpful.
Great place to come for breakfast, so good in fact that we came back for drinks in the evening. Was a bit quiet for a Friday evening but a really cool space. Seats seemed guaranteed. Art displayed upstairs.
Great food, with a unique setting and atmosphere. Very spacious and child friendly. Highly recommended.
A beautiful gallery space with exciting and unusual exhibitions! Friendly and helpful staff and an amazing range of events. I took part in one of the publishing workshops, which was a great chance to get involved, meet like-minded people and learn from the Designers-in-Residence. One of my favourite spots in Leeds!
