I dont often write reviews online but I was just so pleased with the service received by Thomasons I had to share! The whole process from start to finish was expertly and kindly explained by Phillip. I was quite upset at the death of my grandma so did call quite often but never felt I was bothering them.... The viewings we had of her were beautiful and she looked so lovely and well looked after. The premises were immaculate and spotless (not sure where that other review came from ?!?) The service was also very professionally done, and they even allowed us to go to York which I know was a way out for them. I phoned a few other funeral directors and they were not the cheapest but definitely not the most expensive, and I definitely thought they were worth every penny!! Would HIGHLY recommend!! If there were 10 stars I would give them it!!!
I never thought to write a review about my experience but I would just like to say that I was treated with total respect at all times, all my needs were catered for and they still are and all the staff were more than helpful. I definitely feel I made the right choice.
Funeral place chapel of rest
Would have left zero stars if possible. Completely disregarded several instructions for the funeral,owners were rude and confrontational. Ended up going to arbitration over costs. As a nice touch they withheld all charitable donations to a childrens cancer charity during a drawn out arbitration period.
