Great Gym, expensive but worth it if you do alot of activities etc.
Staff are very rude, every year the club is becoming more selfish. Used to give 2 guest passes for birthdays now they give you a small cup cake which is a joke tbh. Also brought my parents in for the day so that they could use the club, then I was told I have to stay with them at all times whilst they are in the club. Absolutely pathetic. Also for the price you pay the gym isn't even 24hours, it closes at 11pm!!
Despite boasting a refurbishment the facilities are under performing all round. It has a new Spa that is frequently breaking down , sauna 1 or the jacuzzi or the showers, always something is guaranteed to not be working when you want to use it. The club charges over the odds for the facilities with year on year price increases, 'just because'. Customer service is particularly poor, they treat any comments and feedback with arrogance and disregard, they frankly couldn't care less about you, and can't even be bothered to pretend they do! The facilities are unsafe, as there is below standard cleaning maintained in the club, you'll be lucky to see a cleaner at the weekends. Mould is growing all over the changing rooms, and standing water is left uncleared, these are simple things you would expect to be kept up with from any basic gym facility. I have been to other David Lloyd gyms and this by far is the worse, it has gone down hill over the last few years and I'd recommend not even bothering to sign up, find another gym (local Village Gym or Anytime Fitness are decent for the money) that appreciates your custom.

Have visited as a guest many times (wife & daughter are members) but refuse to join as it's eye-wateringly expensive!! Facilities, cafe, holiday camps, kids tennis & swimming etc. are all good but at a monthly fee around 4 times that of other gyms it just doesn't add up...
