Im really disappointed with Vidal Sassoon today. I paid 185 for a colour and a trim and TBH thats steep. My local hairdresser would have charged 35-45. Ive been a pretty loyal customer for 20 years but today they wouldnt give me credit for my Christmas voucher because it expired on Feb 8th. Today is the 9th. Pretty mean thing to do. I dont mind being massively overcharged in the general scheme of things because I trust the colourists. But to be charged 90 to have a trim (no layers, no fringe, just an inch taken off) that took 5 minutes is beyond ridiculous. My guess is that the business is struggling a bit financially. Did a quick clock of the company accounts and they look to be loss-making in the year to 31 March 18. Not surprised. Is the position for the current financial year worsening? Is that whats happening?
Holli and Corey were amazing, really listened to what I wanted but also applied their own knowledge to ensure my cut and colour would look good. Would really recommend.

This is the best hairdressing saloon ever. When they dye your hair it last for 8 to 10 weeks unlike other saloon that only lasts for 5 to 6 weeks.. when they cut your hair they take there time. When they wash your hair you get a head massage as well at no extra cost they also style your hair in whichever style you want. Unfortunately they are very expensive hence I only go once a year when I can afford or someone gets me vouchers for the saloon. I wish I could go more often.
Worst experience I have ever had. I wish I could put no stars. I had long thick hair and asked for a trim and to lighten the layers. They ended up cutting at least 3 inches off the length and cutting the layers so short it feels like I have a Bob on the top half and extensions on the other. After they butchered the style they then told me they do not do a volumes blow dry or use a curly brush so I had to have it finished flat and the ends curled. When I went back in to ask how I can manage my new (unwanted) style they didnt listen to my needs. Rather than assist me to maintain my new style they said they can cut it further or I would need to completely change the way I style it. The hairdressers then proceeded to walk away and left me alone, Belittled and upset in store to try and put my hair in a presentable manner to leave the shop. I sent an email formal complaint over a week ago and still have not had any response, even after chasing it up. Terrible service. Would not recommend. It will take at least a year before my hair looks acceptable again!!!
