JUST HAD VAN QUOTE FROM....DIRECT LINE ive got 25yr no claims bonus AND THE HAVE QUOTED ME ..5 TIMES HIGHER THAN THEIR COMPETITION ..THEY ARE PLONKERS ON STEROIDS...,,
I have to say that I thought extremely highly of directline and have remained with them for over 3 years, sadly my loyalty does not count for anything, everything was fantastic until setting up a second vehicle policy, which to be quite frank was too much for their staff to handle adequately, long story short I have cancelled the second policy which I paid for in full, but wont see my refund for 14 days.... 14 DAYS !UPDATE: Having being contacted by a manager, our second vehicle policy has been honoured.For our first vehicle up for renewal in May, the renewal quote was for 670, our online quote on their website was 380 (big difference), they wouldnt match it, simply cancelled the renewal and purchased the cheaper quote inclusive of 0% excess, protected ncd, legal protection and breakdown cover.
This is the legal part of direct line group who commit fraud against their own clients.ceo paul geddes has no denial to the fraud that is used.is this fraud being used part of a bigger picture ?and could it be organized crime ?as the board of direct line group are quite happy with the status of fraud against their own clients.Their obstructing the course of justice to deny the customer the right to justice. WARNING Think before you throw your money away with being a customer of direct line group.
I have been a Direct Line customer for over 15 years! With over 6 properties for home insurance and car insurance. Ive paid them in excess of 30000 and never had a claim in my life. We had a leak in the downstairs. Our entire wooden floor is ruined! Direct Line have sent 2 surveyors out. Now 6 weeks later theyre telling me theyre not paying out because I run a business from home. Something they were aware of from my first insurance with them! Plus its not ran from my home! Its ran from separate offices 50 meters away from my home and always has been. My home is nothing at all to do with the business. And what relevance that would have on a leak in my house? Theyre scamming, robbing b&@stards. Who now Im in the process of Issuing court papers to take them to court! Do not waste your money with this company! More than happy to take your money for 15 years! But not expect any help when you have a genuine and heartbreaking claim! They just make a terrible situation even worse! Would not even give them 1 star if could have left a review with out one I would have! All of theyre reviews on there website are fake! You can not leave a review on there! Ive tried! They publish all of them their selves! Do not waste your money!!!
