Come here regularly and have put Christmas meal here every year. Many games at facilities here and really should be a five star I think. You don't have to stay over as there is a resteraunts and bar that you could go to for the night. Gym, pool, Jacuzzi and steam room along with a sauna. Would defiantly recommend to anyone.
Facilities were top notch just a shame about the experience. We had the feel good package. There was no presseco and chocolates in the room on arrival. We had to ask for them to be put in. The dining experience was mixed food was amazing but service was shocking. We had knocks at our room door on more than 2 occasions with no one there. Still waiting on the manager to email my wife.
Definitely value for money! A great hotel with great facilities. the swimming pool is a big plus. The family room is spacious and there is a brilliant Italian restaurant not far from the hotel. the whole experience is superb! Would definitely recommend!
The spa was lovely. The food was really nice even though it was on the pricey side. The waiter said something strange to my sister when she gave him a tipHe said "Is that for all of us? Including the kitchen staff?"Cheeky !! If it had been me I would have asked for it back. VN.
Stayed here as a base for a short visit to York and Manchester. Excellent choice. Really good hotel. Lots of friendly and knowledgeable staff around. Rooms are to a very high standard, very clean. Bar has a friendly atmosphere. Food is good, breakfast is exceptional. Very tasty, as much as you can eat. Would recommend to anyone needing to stay in the area.
