Going to be great when it is finished. Plenty of turnstiles, once inside there are plenty of bars and fast food outlets. Always a great atmosphere.
I've been to Headingley Stadium 3 times to see England play test cricket. Each time, there has been a special buzz in the crowd.The last visit was England vs. Pakistan and I find it refreshing that a mixed crowd can unite to enjoy the game.Headingley has evolved over the years but I feel they have the right balance between extending the capacity while keeping the unique character.
Stadium in the middle of renovations when we visited. Clearly will be very impressive when finished. Had a great day out and a good result!
I booked tickets for the boxing day friendly between Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield Trinity. We were in the new South Stand and we all thought the new development is outstanding. It's spacious and offers a great view.
It's great fun watching cricket at the Headingley - The stadium is huge and was packed to capacity. More than the game, the spectators participation is very exciting and lively. One shouldn't miss such novel event at this well organized stadium.
