Insisted on refunding by cheque. A glorious ball ache frankly. If you are considering using them factor this in. I would rather have paid a little extra not to have had this ridiculous palava in order to get a refund. They hope that you will forget to cash it or not be bothered one assumes. No doubt they are aware that so few people use cheques that you will have to contact your bank especially to get a paying in book and specific paying in envelopes from your bank which takes two weeks and forget to follow it up so they can keep the money. It's a nefarious and underhand business practice as far as I am concerned because they could just BACS it quite easily. I won't use them again. Pleasant staff but no wonder when they're going to make you jump through hoops in an attempt to get more money out of you. Do I sound bitter? Well in today's world what sort of excuse can you possibly have for a cheque refund? It's risible. Biggus.... Dickus.
Helpful staff. Unless fit and able make sure to get a ground floor unit as it takes a bit of physicality to operate the old fashioned lift. Plenty of parking but could do with more trolleys as sometimes had to wait for one. Have used them a few times and will continue to use them as prices are competitive and its the most convenient storage to where we live.
