My first review of Hollywood bowl seems to have vanished !!We arrived at cardigan fields and parking for the disabled is easy as there are several spaces quite close . Access to the building is all flat and level . Inside the building all areas were accessible . This included the cafe/bar/ restaurant areas. There is also a disabled toilet on the premises. I came back for a rerun as we had a 16th birthday in the family . Booking a lane wasnt a problem and the boys settled in quickly . I cant bowl anymore but I found space behind the lane as there was plenty of room . There was a ramp by the lane but I didnt use it as it didnt appear strong enough . After bowling we went to the arcade area. Parts of it were closed for renovations but I had no problem chairing around all the machines.
We were over from Ireland for the weekend and took family to the Hollywood bowl, very enjoyable experience at reasonable price, we all had good family fun, adult members availed of the snooker tables and the younger ones enjoyed kids amusement, hoping to come bk again in June.

I had a lot of fun last night. Yesterday was my first time ever playing bowling and it was a great experience. At first I did feel a little unconftable as I have problems when being in places with a lot of people however, the atmosphere was great music helped to settle down and relax staff was great and help full. Great place to spend time, with family and/or friends and also great for first date opportunities.
Popped here last week after not visiting for several years. Some elements have changed for the best, whilst others, not so. The bar was incredibly busy with only one member of staff doing their best to serve everyone whilst presumably keeping the bar and restaurant clean too. In this climate, it's great to save money but not at the expense of your staff. Three times the work for the same wage. Food was quite expensive for how sub-par it was. We had an issue with one or two of the arcade machines accepting money but then not being calibrated. The staff weren't right keen to refund either.The toilets need a refurbishment. Could use some of that money that's been cut from elsewhere!Otherwise, the kids seemed to have a good time, free parking and enough bowling lanes to not have any worry about being turned away.
