The bowling is fab and good value for money, the drinks however are quite pricey. Overall had a great time.
Don't cry over spilt beer. Made to feel like it was my fault!Went into Roxy Lane with a couple of friends and my wife for two games of beer pong either side of a round of bowling. All went went well and had a great time although a little if the beer from the second round if pong spilt on the floor and the bar man cleaned it up.A hourpassed and we all went for food at fazenda forgetting that that I'd left my card as a tab behind the booth. So of me and my wife went at 9:20pm knowing that the closing time was 10pm to retrieve my card. Only to see the club had shut up shop 40 minutes early To solve the problem we went to Roxy Ball Room around the corner which opens later to see if we can gain entry to get our card back as we had to pay our hotel on that card as it was booked on it The staff were very helpful as they communicated with the manager of Roxy lanes to come back so I can get my card so we walked around to meet him. Upon arrival I was rudely greeted by the manager by that fact that "he'd come out if his time to get me my card back" even though he'd "cleaned up beer around us" when the fact is if he'd have not closed up just short of an hour early he wouldn't have had to come back as awe were the 40 mins before closing! Having quoting all of the above and a sly remark to a previous review the wife had left we felt it was only necessary to leave a formal compliant to the kind staff at Ball Room that went out of there way to help us about the manager at the Lanes Bar. They were more than happy to proceed with the complaint against the red head manager (so he knows who he is) and we're kind and friendly start to finish Needless to say I know which Roxy's I will visit in the future!Shame to write thus as it's such a great bar but bad experience at 1/2 of the Leeds bars Alex
