Sent the wrong dish, called up to let them know and the responce was: it's not our problem.Especially disappointing considering the amount of times ive ordered from there.Also, the quality of their meat is shocking!!
This is the 1st time I have been to Sukhothai after hearing rave reviews from Good Food Guides and family too. The sticky rice was poorly presented and the Green Thai Curry was a little too watery for my liking and most of the staff seemed too busy to take our orders for drinks and the bar man in particular never smiled and was quite stone faced the whole time, I asked him if some empty glasses could be taken away and he just mumbled something and walked away which was extremely rude and spoiled my experience altogether.To sum it up I don't think I would be returning and think I'll stick to Chaopraya in which the service, presentation and attentiveness are truly faultless.
Dreadful service from the minute we walked in to the minute we left. We were left unattended in the reception area for 15 minutes. No one greeted us or took our table reservation details. We were not offered to put our coats anywhere and were not offered a drink whilst we waited. When we were eventually seated again we were offered no drinks for 30 minutes and had to ask for drinks and also to order. Our server was very young and clearly out of his depth. Redeeming, the food was good although a little pricey for what it was and the portion size. After we had finished our mains no-one came to clear out plates away. After 20 minutes we decided to leave and asked for the bill and a taxi to be booked. No bill arrived or looked like it would arrive so we went to the front desk and asked to pay. They were unable to tell us if the taxi waiting outside was ours or not. It was and he had been about to leave. Poor service and communication spoilt the night which was a first date. Had it not been a first date we would have complained .I have subsequently emailed them further details as they requested in response to this review and group management replied after speaking with the venue management) denying any knowledge of any service issues saying the restaurant was quiet that night (Saturday). Personally, after this response I will not be returning to this venue or any of its other venues
Wow wow wow! The BEST crispy fish ever! The Sea Bream was ridiculous! Amazing red prawns curries and mouthwatering Papaya Salads! Will 100% definitely be coming back to this awesome restaurant.
