Ive had a problem with both my lower back and knee for around 4 years. I went through the NHS process to be advised they were two separate injuries and they wanted to concentrate on my back (Id have to go back though my GP for any knee attention). After 9 months of waiting, physio and scans, they identified a degenerative disc which was causing me problems. I was told to join a Pilates class and accept that I may have to live with it. Im an active person so living with it would be torture bearing in mind I could hardly exercise. I saw a private physio who did some deep tissue massage and I started to feel a relief. This inspired me to use massage balls and foam rollers which allowed me to numb the pain whilst I exercised. However, I wanted a resolution and by chance, came across Jason at regeneration physio. Jason was different from every other physio I had seen, he didnt assume anything and carried out a number of tests to identify the problem. Ive been for a few sessions, Im not completely healed yet but its the first time I felt optimistic about the problem. The pain is reducing, Im able to do more already and I couldnt recommend him highly enough. If your considering using a physio then look no further.
