Nice little Asda, in a convenient location with plenty of parking. I love their pizzas and hot food to go section, cheaper than alot of nearby places yet it tastes so good. The staff always help me if I need a certain item or items. Friendly and smily staff, I would recommend this Asda to everyone as they won't be disappointed.
In a small retail park . Access from Kirkstall Road ,A65 . One road in and out . Can be a problem at peak times . Plenty of parking including several disability access bays.To gain entry into the shop from the car park you will have to cross the access road .Two way traffic !!! There is a dropped kerb to get onto the footpath .You then can enter the store by a double sliding electronic door .I was able to access the whole store without difficulty. Its not a large store but stocks most of the staple stuff. NO toilets in store.At the till area there are two main checkouts (not manned) and six self scanners. Also there is a click and collect point and a small kiosk for lottery , cigarettes and customer service . Photos later . It was too busy.I enquired about help available and was told it wasnt a problem and a member of staff would come and help..There is also an ATM on the outside wall .
Asda leeds based walmart owned. Always stylish and packed with attractive useful products.the staff are friendly and proficient never aloof .good to visit and healthier than a hang over.
Staff tried to force me to use self checkout despite me telling a VERY arrogant person I prefer not to use them. Repeated it 3 times before had to dump purchases on counter and left. Makes you wonder when he'll be replaced by a machine? Should be retrained on customer service in the real world, but as Asda clearly prefer this method of service as opposed to what customers clearly want, I reckon he might be in for 'colleague of the month' or similar. Nearly wall to wall self checkouts at exit, empty shop and very miserable feel to the place. Went to Aldi next door which was packed and full of human staff.
Fantastic customer service. One of the few places left where people generally like work in here. Always smiling and always willing to help they even lift my groceries out the from for me to get a taxi. Fair play asda they people that work here are the best.
