For Leeds one of the "big" english cities the station is mediocre at best compared to other stations in similar cities. The station is meeeh. However, most of the workers there are good.
New barrier staff are so rude dark hair Asian guy was so rude and slow this morning at 9:45am and then at 19:05 the black guy was also rude, slow and unhelpful.... people want to get through not wait ages while your staff chat to each other. Get better, helpful and more friendly staff around the disabled gates. The lack of them is not on!! We should be treated with our needs met like others, not neglected because your staff are not bothered about being at work!!! Sort it out!!!
Leeds station is huge, but there is no way to get lost there. Everywhere, great the signs of where and how to go. In addition, a staff is very helpful, which will help and answer every question if possible. At every step small cafes, toilets and kiosks with food and newspapers. Besides, it is very clean here despite all the crowds of passengers to which I belonged today. I really like this place.
The staff are extremely helpful at this station and they can help me from A to b. I use this station on a weekly basis and I am happy. This is exactly what I need as I have no sight at all and getting around on my own would be impossible.
Now that it has been upgraded Leeds has a better chance of coping with the many thousands of passengers who pass through here every day. Signage is clear and easy to follow, it has plenty of staff to assist with enquiries, facilities for the disabled passengers are better than many large stations and there are plenty of food, drink and retail outlets
