Came last night for me and my partner's 5 year anniversary and we were both blown away by the quality of the food on offer - I'm not joking when I say that sirloin steak is some of the best steak I've eaten in my life.Only points I would raise is that some of the meat cutters were rather miserable, and the dessert menu is a bit of an afterthought rather than anything that would actually accompany the meats or enhance your meal afterwards.
All you can eat Salad and a fresh selection of meats that is brought out to you until you've had enough - what's not to like?Excellent staff, fantastic ambiance and a varied selection. Most of the Meats are Halal too, so an excellent idea for office nights out or just dinner with friends.
Went for Christmas meal with work, first visit was really impressed. Great selection at salad bar and meat to die for.... especially the steak. Tip: go when you are really hungry as so much to eat. Well worth the money :)
The food was delicious, the salad bar is a feast in itself! And then the meat comes out. Tender, beautifully cooked, and served by friendly people. It's a really relaxed atmosphere in a smart, well run restaurant. Would definitely recommend, there were 8 of us and despite the place being packed the service was great. Can't wait to go back.
You can't go without comparing to the other place over by the train station, having been to both I'm feeling good about this review. This is a 4 star restaurant with a 5 star dinner, I found the meat tonight to be excellent, full of flavour and, if you like it rare, perfectly cooked. The salad bar, although not as extensive, was superb. The wine excellent and not unreasonable for a city centre restaurant. Parking was easy, mid week evening in late November, which might have helped. The only things I could put it down on, and this is if you're viewing the entire experience with a very critical eye, the wall covering is beautiful, but needs some patches, the napkins could be better, and the desert menu was nothing really to add to the main dinner and it felt like an afterthought rather than a commitment to extending the dining experience. All in all, a very pleasant night out with the good lady, left happy, full, slightly tipsy, and with a firm commitment to be tempted to return on a weekend.
