My favourite place to visit in Leeds. This gem is a hidden bar, but well worth the trouble of finding it. It's at the top of the stairs (which look residential) from the street. The stairs curve at the top of the stairs to a set of doors - go straight through to find it. Amazing atmosphere inside, really helpful and friendly staff. Cocktails are amazing, also looks to have a good wine list. There's a restaurant upstairs too. I'd recommend visiting early as it gets very busy.

We visited the Maven as we wanted to find something that was 'different' and not the usual bog standard restaurant food. The Maven certainly provides amazing food, full of flavours and the cocktails were absolutely amazing. The only issue we had was that it was incredibly noisy and I struggled to hear a word the waitress said. So it's not the kind of place to go if you want romance and to whisper sweet nothings into your loved ones ear. . .they'll either never hear you or you'll shout so loud everyone will!I'd go again, but probably just to the bar and not the restaurant.

A great little cocktail bar (they do food on the 2nd floor too). Quirky decor with lots of seating in the bar area. Staff are friendly, it's not too crowded and there is a nice range of drinks. Cocktails range from 8 to 10. The only difficult part is finding it as there is no sign on the front of the building just a stairway to some large doors. It's worth a look inside!

Always a great atmosphere. Buzzing and busy on our visit. Good range of beers and drinks.

We had our wedding at this hidden little gem over the weekend and I can honestly say it was the perfect venue for our low-key, quirky style of a wedding. The staff went the extra mile to make sure all of our guests enjoyed their night and had plenty of food & drink at all times! The chef and kitchen staff need a big round of applause for managing to get all the food out on time and all consistent, as we like to say it was all "Spot on!" The Feast menu really did deliver just that! Everyone was completely stuffed but couldn't stop themselves trying absoluetly everything! We cannot thank all these guys enough for all the effort they put in to make this night work. And to top things off, we went there the next day thinking we would have the unfavourable cleaning to do, to find that they even sorted out all our stuff out. All we had to do was grab it and go. Massive thank you to everyone at The Maven, couldn't recommend you guys enough! We loved every minute of it. Hope you enjoyed the donuts
