An incredible place to study. With the recent refurbishment the building is up to the same high quality standard as the Laidlaw Library but much bigger and practical. The staff were particularly helpful on my visit when I had lost my card and really do go overboard to help you. As others have said it is definitely one of, if not the, best place to study in Leeds.

One of the best libraries on campus. It has group work spaces, silent study rooms, private meeting rooms, screens to share info in meetings, printers, and a floor dedicated to postgraduate students. It is also next to the Edit Room, where you can get food, snacks, and coffee. Very convenient in any way.

Nice place for studying. It has a private study room which can be booked in advanced

Good refurb, don't learn much in it, not quite 5 stars for that reason

The refurb is great, 5 stars for that. But the fact that there are gestapo library staff constantly walking around to check if anyone has brought food or drink in makes it feel very unwelcoming.I thought Leeds University was a place of adult education, not a creche.Dunno why, it just really pisses me off sitting in here and seeing a member of staff slide by with their head and eyes scouring the area like a supermarket security guard, making it blindingly obvious that they're on the hunt for evil students who've come in with a bite of food or a drink that isn't water. Surely there are better things to do than treat adult learners like 10 year olds. And so I reduce the rating down to 3 stars.
