The reception staff at Holly House on Street Lane seem to be more friendly these days. Perhaps they have undergone some training in customer relations. Its a very busy place, The Vets are usually good and friendly however the charges are also very high.
I've never owned a puppy before and registered with Holly House Vets on the recommendation of my sister. Not long after collecting my puppy he got fleas. I phoned the vet on Sunday and they agreed to see me at 10am because I was worried, The vet was amazing and gave Barney some flea treatment for me, worked very quickly. Within hours there were no more fleas.We went back on Tuesday for his micro-chip and vaccination. It is obvious that everyone who works in Holly House loves animals. The receptionist cuddles puppies, the vets give treats so the dog doesn't see the vet as a negative experience.I spent ages talking to the vet on Tuesday and he talked me through loads of stuff. I didn't feel rushed and was really impressed. Barney also got a puppy welcome pack which included some treats and loads of info.I trust Holly House completely and they will see me and Barney for years to come.
I wouldn't take my beloved pets anywhere else for vet care! Always felt my pets are genuinely cared about and their well-being is priority, not just profit like some vets I've experienced. Always leave here content following expert care. Totally trusted by myself and I'm a fussy one! Highly recommended practice.
Receptionists are extremely welcoming and friendly. Veterinary staff know their stuff and are very knowledgable. Sarah Brown is an exceptional exotics vet, totally put me and my partner at ease when she was dealing with our Pygmy hedgehog, now we wouldnt go anywhere else with him! We travelled for an hour and a bit and werent disappointed in the service. Would highly recommend this practice to anyone with exotic pets!
We were very happy with Rachel particularly for helping to train our rescue dog Charlie. The change in his behaviour for the last 12 months has been quite remarkable. He is now a very happy dog who is easy to manage and gets on fantastically well with other dogs, which was a serious problem before.
