Gone to get plates made and fitted to car not even tryied to take screws out then stuck the new plates over old ones it looked takie and i could of done that much whent to another hlafords they took all screws out and fitted new plates to car phoned and spoke to manager at the first hslfords they are refunding my money back to me
I'd stay away from this place for bike repairs. The people working here do not have enough experience for bike repair and do not accept responsibility for the damage they've done. Against what I had been advised, I took the bike in because the front suspension wasn't working properly. They serviced that (just air and cleaning) but they did something to the front wheel that caused the brake pads to misalign with the brake pads and making awful noise.
DONT GO THERE. Took my car for a full service 240. They called me and said cat now won't start so needs a new key and new battery. Paid for them both, car still wouldn't start. Took it to vaxhual and they said they halford have tried swapping an original part therefore my car shut down. 2 months later my telling me it needs oil. Took it back as I paid for a full service, the manager switched this msg off n never checked oil, car still telling me it needs a full service . Checked oil myself and it was empty. PLEASE DONT GO THERE, you will regret it. Manger is a sleazy meat ball.. awfull
Booked an appointment online for wheel alignment at 02:00pm and also paid online but in arrival they told me that it will take 1/2 hours to start the job. I asked them that I can't wait that long so want to cancel. They said I have to ring customer service to get a refund. Poor service. Won't recommend anyone.
Back brake went on the bike. Needed a new brake cable and adjustment. Also gears needed some adjustment. They did a drivetrain clean on the gears (they look like new) which work perfectly and fitted all the stuff for the back brake so it was ready the next morning. All works perfectly and for less than 30. Very happy with it all. Knowledgeable and friendly.
