We had a surprising couple of hours here. Fantastic to see working waterwheels driving shafts and pulleys helping to show how the mill worked. Found things in the house, which you can touch and hold, that we remembered as children.

Nice place to visit for an hour or two. Combine with a walk along the canal. Nice staff including Millie the mill cat.

Lots to see and learn about. We were there much longer than I anticipated even though it was a chilly day. Take a picnic as refreshments are limited.

Great working water wheels. Look out for the event weekends

Fascinating industrial museum. Beautiful setting with river and canal. Cafe. Parking. Available for weddings, meetings and events on request.
