Great place for a walk especialy if your a dog lover. Also a handy dog friendly cafe nearby

Lovely park. I grew up in a house backing on to the park and never get tired of going here. Went for a nice 2 hour walk with my new puppy today and went deep into the woods. Brought back some lovely memories from my childhood of exploring the woods. Highly recommend going here and theres also a cafe there now. Just wish there was more parking.

Local park with open spaces, woodland paths, stream, children's playground and gardens. Popular with dog walkers. Free parking. Also historical interest with connection to Captain Oates, member of ill-fated Scott Antarctica expedition.
