Firstly, I apologise for the late review, just found the time to do this now. Secondly, I cant understand the many negative comments on here but personally, I had the best experience with this rental service. We had rented a neat and tidy Renault Captur over Christmas 2018 and we found it a pleasure to deal with the staff and the whole process of booking the vehicle was quick and easy. Our arrangement was that we were told to return the car with a full tank of fuel but on our way back it was very late and no fuel stations were open as it was the holiday season, on calling the guy in Easirent reception (I think his name was Jason, im not the best in remembering names), we explained our predicament and he said not to worry and to return the car and he would sort it and not charge us for the fuel. He even dropped us back to the airport carpark that freeeezing night, I felt that was really professional of him and thats what I call excellent customer service, going above and beyond to assist a customer. Thank you Jason (Im sure thats his name). I have nothing but praise and would definitely recommend them to anyone and would use them again.
DON'T RENT CAR HERE!!! Real bandits!! You don't need the extra insurances they want charge you!!! Also be very careful about fuel deposit and full to full (or empty to empty) policies!! Worst rental agency ever!!! And if you not native English, they speak a strong slang so you don't understand what they stay!!!
We rented a van for the day with this company. We would NEVER use them again. We returned the vehicle early, and then when they inspected it they said it had a small scratch to the passenger side. We hadn't caused the scratch, we must have just missed it when we took the vehicle - as the scratch was tiny (see photo attached, its the tiny black line).. We said it wasn't us that caused the scratch- they just dismissed it and said we had damaged the vehicle and it needed to be off the road for repair (!!). They charged us 480 !!!! 480 for a tiny little scratch. This organisation ripped us off big time - beware! Luckily we had taken out separate van excess cover, and they have paid us back and have actually said they are going after Easirent as they have clearly massively overcharged for the scratch - so hopefully their scam will backfire on them!! DO NOT USE!!
BEWARE: These guys would not try my credit card and forced me to take full insurance. They charge 55 admin fee. Alamo is under 5. Car was filthy. AVOID unless you want to be ripped off.
Dont understand some of the negative comments on here about this company. They almost stopped me using them but thankfully I took more notice of the positives. I have nothing but praise after hiring a car for 3 days at a very reasonable price. Obviously you need to leave a (returnable) deposit as with all hire cars!!! You can reduce your excess insurance at a reasonable cost (again common practice) cost of petrol in case you return it empty(again returnable) seems reasonable. I would definitely recommend and would use them again.
