The hotel is nice and modern with excellent facilities. The check in was painless with welcoming staff and the room was clean with great amenities for the area and price. Plenty of space and in a great central location for Leeds.

Four friends out for dinner. A really lovely evening. The pre-dinner area is relaxing with really comfy seats and in winter a central log fire effect. Spencer, our drinks server was amazing, he really looked after us. When he discovered we had a designated driver in the group he immediately offered a wide selection of some tasty sounding mocktails. The food was exceptional....we all opted for all three cuts of steak and each was cooked to perfection. The triple cooked chips were exceptional. We will definitely be returning starting with the new Sunday roast menu

I haven't stayed in the hotel therefore I am only reviewing the bar area on the ground floor. It is one of our choice places to stop for a drink/snack when visiting Leeds city centre. It has a nice ambience, lots of comfy seating, clean, friendly staff, good for social or for friends or family. If you're passing by looking for a good place for a pit stop, this is a good place to do it.

An amazing evening. We went for my fiancee 's birthday,at the fire and lake restaurant within the hotel. As a group of four,we arrived to be greeted by a wonderful bloke called Spencer. After being seated we had drinks choices all helped by Spencer.me being a whisky drinker was passed to the bar manager, to talk about the choices they had,a very nice Japanese one, everyone else had cocktails made some as one offs by the bar staff based on there own preferences. Then we had a 3 course meal. All the food was beautiful the chefs clearly care about their ingredients and how best to use them. The choices are varied to cover all tastes and any amendments are easly met. Once eaten we where then asked to move to a seating area that had been reserved near to there indoor fire pit. All in all a very enjoyable and relaxed evening.

My visits are infrequent, just for a drink and change of atmosphere. A few years ago, the lounge was more spacious but over the past couple years a refit has brought in a bar space with demarcated seating arrangements and restaurant. It is more livelier, noisier at times but can be cosy too. Staff are friendly and will do their best to meet your needs. A warm fire occupies the central seating area. Worth another visit.
