Again holiday Inn express have not let us down, arrival speedy check in all other things pointed out. Taken the lift to our room on the 7th floor absolutely fantastic, it was so quiet not even sure other rooms occupied.Having eaten on route we decided to make use of the complimentary drinks tea/coffee, there is also hair dryer, iron and board to hand. After a good night's sleep breakfast was afoot and not disappointed cereals, juice, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, and beans. Now I know some people want to see black pudding fried bread hash browns be prepared for it there isn't any and so glad makes for a lighter breakfast. Of course you can eat as much as you want, a selection of teas and coffees croissants and muffins. There was plenty even though there were a lot of people well done to the staff for taking in there stride to keep up with food demand.Out for the day in Leeds centre bit of sightseeing retail therapy in the vast array of shops, visited the market which seems to have a following trend a few empty stalls but nevertheless worth a visit. The food hall well worth a visit hence why we never are at holiday Inn in evening.A big thank you to all staff for making our stay memorable. Especially to the young lady that helped my wife with some cold remedies. I must apologise but I didn't get her name but a big thank you.

Arrived at the hotel (it was snowing) when booking in, asked for extra pillows as had man flu!!! Isla (apologies for spelling) couldn't do enough for us. She said she would sort it straight away, and asked me if I would like some ginger and lemon tea bags plus honey for my cold, and got me some. When delivering the pillows to the room, she brought me some fresh lemon as well. A big thank you to her and to the hotel. Breakfast very good and room immaculate. Will definitely stay there again. Room 713

Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and it was wonderful. Nice clean room apart from odd smell coming from the sink drain. I have no other complaints, bed was cosy, shower was nice and breakfast was pretty thumbs up! For the price I think you get more then you pay. Staff was lovely too. All around good things to say.

Fantastic service. Staff very helpful and always positive! The hotel is very clean and tidy, 15 mins walk from Leeds city centre.Children friendly!Definitely will come back again!

Location is ok, plenty of surrounding restaurants in walking distance. Staff friendly and helpful and the restaurant/lobby area is clean and pleasant. Good selection of snacks. Room was not cleaned thoroughly on the first night, coffee cups were not replaced but bed was made. They also charge for parking, which is not unheard of sure, but it's not exactly dead in the centre of the city and most IHG hotels I've stayed at do not charge even if space was limited.
